Clemson Safety Enters Portal

A Clemson defender has hit the NCAA transfer portal.

Redshirt freshman walk-on safety Jaden Kinard has entered the portal, per reports.

Kinard is the son of College Football Hall of Famer and Clemson Ring of Honor member Terry Kinard, a multi-time All-American who helped lead the Tigers to the 1981 national championship.

Jaden, who joined the Clemson football program as a walk-on in the summer of 2022, appeared in three career games with one tackle across the 2022-23 seasons.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder finished prep career at Sumter High School after moving from Georgetown High School.
