Clemson will soon play host again to this priority offensive line target in the class of 2025.
Trinity Christian Academy (Addison, Texas) four-star tackle Jaylan Beckley has locked in a return trip to Tiger Town later this month.
After visiting Clemson over the summer, Beckley had hoped to make it back for a game sometime in the fall and tried to make it happen, but he and his family couldn’t work out the long-distance trip during the season.
However, the 6-foot-5, 305-pound junior will be back on campus the weekend of Jan. 27, when the Tigers hold their elite junior day.
“I’m extremely excited to be back in Clemson, and just really grateful we could make the trip,” Beckley told The Clemson Insider.
A sought-after prospect, Beckley received an offer from Clemson this past June when he worked out at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
In December, multiple Clemson coaches traveled to check in on Beckley, who drew a school visit from Swinney, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and receivers coach/recruiting coordinator Tyler Grisham.
Beckley is excited to continue building his relationship with Clemson’s staff – and get his first in-person interaction with new Tigers offensive line coach Matt Luke – when he makes the elite junior day visit.
“I’m most looking forward to meeting Coach Luke in person, and spending more time with Coach Swinney, Coach Garrett, and the rest of the staff,” Beckley said.
What else does Beckley hope to get out of the elite junior day experience?
“I’m also really looking forward to connecting and reconnecting with some of the other recruits in my class that will be there,” he said.
Kansas, Oklahoma State, Duke, Texas A&M, LSU, SMU and Baylor are some of the schools (along with Clemson) that have been heavily pursuing Beckley, who lists around 20 total scholarship offers.
