Brown: Tigers Have Best WR in Country

The nation’s top-ranked linebacker believes this talented receiver is the best in the country — and both are headed to Tiger Town.

Clemson five-star linebacker signee Sammy Brown had high praise for one of the Tigers’ highly touted receiver signees, TJ Moore, following his outstanding showing during Saturday’s All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

A four-star prospect from Tampa (Fla.) Catholic ranked among the top 100 overall players in the nation by most recruiting services, Moore was the star of the East team in the All-American Bowl, making an abundance of catches during the contest including two touchdown grabs and a highlight one-handed snag.

Moore tallied 92 receptions for 2,293 yards and 30 touchdowns across his junior and senior seasons at Tampa Catholic while averaging 96 receiving yards per game. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder had 100 receiving yards in 12 games over his final two years.

On Saturday, Moore provided an exciting glimpse of what he could bring to Clemson’s receiving corps. He’s set to enroll this summer, while Brown — the 2023 High School Butkus Award winner and All-American Bowl Defensive Player of the Year Award recipient — is an early enrollee.
