Clemson’s Resume Holding Strong After Losing Streak

The three-game losing streak knocked the Clemson Tigers out of the AP poll, but predicting the 2024 NCAA Tournament bracket is a different story.

ESPN’s Joe Lynsey’s released his latest Bracketology and Clemson is listed as the No. 5 seed in the East region. That would set up for a matchup with McNeese State in Spokane, WA. so Tigers fans might have to prepare for a long trip.

While the Tigers sit in the 17-20 range, the only two ACC teams ranked ahead are North Carolina and Duke, No. 1 and 3 seeds respectively. If Clemson were to advance in this bracket prediction, it would set up for a regional in Boston, MA.

Some might wonder why the Tigers still have this respect but the answer is obvious. While Brad Brownell’s team is 3-4 in Quad 1 games, Clemson hasn’t let a bad loss appear on its resume with a 9-0 record in Quad 2-4.

The Tigers look to maintain that streak with a matchup against Georgia Tech Tuesday night.
