Clemson Basketball Squeaks into Top 25 of Recruiting Class Rankings

Brad Brownell and his staff are putting together a strong season even given the recent struggles, but Clemson is also making improvements on the recruiting trailer. Looking at the 2024 class, the Tigers have three commitments.

Two of those are four-star recruits in point guard Del Jones and forward Dallas Thomas. The legacy recruit, three-star guard Ace Buckner is the third commitment. ESPN released its recruiting class rankings, and Clemson came in at No. 25.

The Tigers are poised for a return to the NCAA tournament, but their top three players are all seniors. A three-man recruiting class led by ESPN 100 prospects Del Jones (No. 70) and Dallas Thomas (No. 80) will help rebuild. Ace Buckner rounds out the group.

All three additions will bring much needed depth to a program that will lose its stars after the 2023-24 season. While it may not compete with the blue bloods, Clemson sits at No. 5 in the ACC in class rankings, remaining competitive.
