CLEMSON — As Clemson begins Erik Bakich’s second season, the Tigers are looking to build off of last season’s ACC Tournament title and Regional appearance.
After flying under the national radar going into 2023, Clemson has plenty of national attention in 2024. The Tigers are ranked in the top-12 of four major preseason polls. Clemson is ranked No. 9 in both the Baseball America and USA Today Coaches Polls, No. 10 in the D1 Baseball Poll, and No. 12 in the NCBWA Poll. The Tigers are projected second in the Atlantic Division in the ACC Preseason Coaches Poll as well as Baseball America and D1 Baseball. Clemson is projected as the second-best ACC team by D1 Baseball and as the third-best ACC team by ACC Coaches and Baseball America.
