CLEMSON — The 10th-ranked Clemson softball team beat Ole Miss to win the Tigers’ home opener at McWhorter Stadium on Friday evening as part of the Clemson Classic.

Junior Aby Vieira tallied three RBIs off two hits and scored one run, while redshirt senior Valerie Cagle notched eight strikeouts in the circle and two RBIs at the plate to power the Tigers to a 9-1 victory over the Rebels in six innings.
