Key Clemson Targets Set Official Visits

The 2025 recruiting cycle is a strong one so far for the Clemson Tigers and it’s approaching maybe the biggest moment in the timeline.

Clemson’s bread and butter in recruiting is the in-person visits on campus. It’s where the Tigers set themselves apart and official visit weekend is officially set for May 31-June 2 this year. The Clemson Insider confirmed from multiple recruits that it would be at the end of May and now it’s official.

Two key targets shared on social media that they will be in Clemson that weekend. Both are four-star recruits in offensive lineman Mal Waldrep and safety Jordan Young.

Waldrep and Young were in town for the Elite Retreat in late Jan., the weekend Clemson gained a lot of traction in the class. Now it’s all about closing with many of the recruits and the Tigers are making strong progress in doing so.

Last time Waldrep spoke to TCI, he said Clemson is “top two, not two.”  If the Tigers can close the deal with these two recruits, it would take Dabo Swinney’s top three class into the stratosphere.
