PFF: Wiggins Has ‘Best Measurables’ of CBs in 2024 NFL Draft

Nate Wiggins is one of the cornerbacks in discussion for the best in the 2024 NFL draft for many reasons, and the unteachable size sets him apart from the class.

The first-team All-ACC cornerback stands at 6-foot-2, and he played with elite athleticism at Clemson. In Pro Football Focus’ latest mock draft from Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman, they explained why Wiggins is such a coveted prospect.

“Their secondary. It just cost them their season and I think Wiggins, he’s got the best measurable of any corners in this draft. He can play man or zone” Wasserman said.

Wasserman selected Wiggins with the No. 22 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in this mock, and it fills a hole for a defense that collapsed as the season progressed. On top of that, playing under Darius Slay is invaluable for the former Tiger.

If Wiggins puts together a strong week at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, this is a potentia spot for him to be selected in a couple months.
