Swinney Gives Injury Update on Defensive Lineman

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney gave an injury update on a third-year defensive lineman following Wednesday’s scrimmage.

Swinney spoke about redshirt sophomore Caden Story, who’s been working at defensive end after moving from the defensive tackle position.

“Caden’s missed the last couple days with a boot on his foot,” Swinney said, “but he’ll be back hopefully after spring [break].”

The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder enters the 2024 season credited with two tackles over 11 career games.

A former consensus four-star prospect from Alabama, Story played four defensive snaps while redshirting in his first year at Clemson in 2022 before playing 59 defensive snaps over 10 games last season.
