Thomas’ 40-Yard Dash Time at Clemson Pro Day

CLEMSON – Former Clemson defensive end Xavier Thomas showcased his speed at the Tigers’ Pro Day. This was his spotlight after pulling up his calf during both attempts at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

Thomas ran an official 4.62 in Indianapolis and he improved on that time in the facility that was home to him for six years.

He ran an unofficial 4.46 on his second run Thursday morning, taking a strong step from his hindered time at the combine. His first run looked quicker but we were unable to get a time.

Thomas finished his Clemson career with 121 tackles, 34 for loss and 17.5 sacks. He earned All-ACC honors in two seasons as a Tiger and is now raising his stock ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.
