Short has made a multitude of visits to Clemson since receiving an offer Jan. 24. Offensive line coach Matt Luke made a strong impression and it’s helped the Tigers stay in contention with the Bulldogs.
The Elite Retreat was a key moment in this recruiting process and Short returned to campus March 13 to see Clemson practice and share more time with the program. As the decision approaches, it’s crucial for the Tigers since the de-commitment of Jaylan Beckley.
Shoukd Short pick Clemson, he would join fellow four-stars Brayden Jacobs and Easton Ware as the 2025 commitments up front.
