Swinney Asked About Linthicum, Adams Injuries

During his press conference following Clemson’s Orange & White Spring Game on Saturday, head coach Dabo Swinney gave an injury update when asked specifically about redshirt junior center Ryan Linthicum and redshirt sophomore running back Keith Adams Jr., both of whom got banged up during the spring game.

“I think everybody’s OK,” Swinney said. “Nobody’s brought anything to me, anything significant. That can change, too, between today and tomorrow. But I think we’re OK.”

Behind a defense that had 14 tackles for loss, nine sacks and a pick-six, Team Orange defeated Team White 27-12 win in front of an estimated crowd of 47,000 people — the sixth-largest crowd on record for a Clemson spring game.

The contest completed Clemson’s 15-session spring practice window as the Tigers prepare for their season-opening showdown against Georgia in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Aug. 31.
