NC State is looking to carry over momentum into this weekend series against in-state rival North Carolina after taking two of three on the road from Clemson. Despite suffering a one-run loss to No. 19 Coastal Carolina on Tuesday that ended its 27-game home winning streak, UNC is coming off its fourth conference series sweep of the year last weekend.
No. 8 Florida State (30-6, 10-5 ACC) vs. No. 12 Wake Forest (24-12, 9-9 ACC)

Florida State is coming off a series win against Miami but managed to suffer its first non-conference loss of the weekend against Mercer. The Friday night matchup, which should be Jamie Arnold (FSU) vs. Chase Burns (WF), will be must-watch TV, with two top-tier arms going toe-to-toe in Winston-Salem.
Georgia Tech (22-13, 7-8 ACC) vs. No. 10 Virginia (28-9, 11-7 ACC)

Georgia Tech, coming off a very big series win at home vs. a top-ranked Virginia Tech club, is looking to handle another foe from the same state in the Virginia Cavaliers, who are now ranked No. 10 in the country. Virginia took down George Mason in a midweek matchup that started a five-game homestand.
Pitt (14-19, 4-14 ACC) vs. No. 6 Clemson (30-6, 11-4 ACC)

Clemson looks to get back on the right track in week 10, which started off with a victory in a midweek matchup against UNC Charlotte on Tuesday, when Alden Mathes hit his seventh home run of the season and the Tigers scored eight runs.
Boston College (19-16, 7-11 ACC) vs. Notre Dame (15-18, 2-16 ACC)

Boston College and Notre Dame are both in the midst of subpar seasons and are looking forward to a chance to take a series from one another. Notre Dame, which has really struggled in conference play, is going up against a club in Boston College that managed to steal a game from Wake Forest at home last weekend.
Louisville (21-15, 7-8 ACC) vs. Miami (16-19, 6-12 ACC)

The Louisville offense ranks top 30 nationally in batting average, doubles, hits, on base percentage, runs, slugging and triples. The Cardinals have been hit by a pitch 48 times this season, second-most in the ACC. Miami is led by its Friday night starter, Greg Ziehl, who was drafted out of high school by the Chicago Cubs. He dons a 4.33 ERA and a WHIP of 1.17 through week 9 of the season.
No. 7 Duke (27-10, 11-7 ACC) vs. No. 23 Virginia Tech (24-10, 11-7 ACC)

Virginia Tech is coming off a series loss against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets where they took game one, 11-1, and then lost the next two while giving up a combined 30 runs to the Yellow Jackets. Duke looks to take care of business on the road, starting Friday night with its star lefthanded pitcher Jonathan Santucci.
