NFL Draft week is upon us and there’s plenty of Clemson Tigers who will hear their name called over the weekend.
ESPN’s Jordan Reid has released his full and final mock draft with the big day right around the corner. Six former Tigers made the list and two were predicted to be selected to the same team on the first two days of the draft.
The 2024 NFL Draft starts at 8 p.m. Thursday, televised on ESPN and ABC. Here’s the full list of predictions for Clemson’s NFL prospects.
No. 23 pick to Arizona Cardinals: CB Nate Wiggins
After securing Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 4, the Cardinals can get aggressive to address their cornerback situation. Wiggins’ technique and reactive quickness are among the best in this class, and with his unique speed and suddenness, he can turn and run with anyone. Some teams might be concerned with his 173-pound frame, but there is no denying Wiggins’ talent. The Cardinals can start him right away opposite Sean Murphy-Bunting. None of their cornerbacks had more than one interception in 2023, so this unit has to improve at the draft.
No. 66 pick to Arizona Cardinals: DT Ruke Orhorhoro
Arizona might look to add more strength along the interior, and Orhorhoro is the best run-defending defensive lineman in this class.
No. 148 pick to Las Vegas Raiders: Tyler Davis, DT, Clemson
No. 153 pick to Jacksonville Jaguars: Will Shipley, RB, Clemson
No. 165 to Baltimore Ravens: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
No. 177 pick to Minnesota Vikings: Xavier Thomas, EDGE, Clemson
