TCI Hitter-of-the Week
Alden Mathes
The redshirt senior outfielder from Broomall, PA earned his second hitter-of-the-week award after going 10-for-21 (.476) over four games last week. Mathes had three doubles, five runs, two RBI, a walk, and was 1-1 on stolen bases with a .500 on-base percentage.
TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week
Matthew Marchal
The graduate student from Greenville, SC earned his first pitcher-of-the-week award for his performance out of the bullpen last week. Marchal threw 4.0 innings of relief at Louisville on Friday to keep Clemson in the game, allowing three hits (.231 OBA) with one walk and three strikeouts while picking up the win.

The Tigers outscored their opponents 38-29 while outhitting the competition .337 (57 hits) to .253 (37 hits). On the week, Clemson had 13 doubles, one triple, eight homers, 17 walks, and two HBPs against 41 strikeouts while going 5-6 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 5.63 ERA, allowing 29 runs (26 earned) across 38.1 innings with 28 walks and 27 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .964 clip, committing six errors in 167 chances.

Clemson welcomes Georgia Tech to Doug Kingsmore Stadium for an ACC series this weekend.
