Priester Joins The Clemson Insider Staff

The Clemson Insider announced Wednesday the hiring of Jason Priester as a full time writer covering recruiting and the Clemson beat.

“I am happy to announce that JP is joining the staff at The Clemson Insider,” Owner/Publisher Robert MacRae said. “Today we landed a five-star.  JP is going to be a great addition to our staff bringing years of experience covering recruiting for the Tigers and the beat.  With JP on board, along with Gavin [Oliver]  we will be able to take our recruiting coverage and coverage of the Clemson beat to a new level.”

“I’m so excited to join the staff at TCI and I can’t wait to get this next chapter of my career kicked off working alongside some of the best in the business,” Priester said.  “I can’t thank Robert enough for for allowing me to become a member of the team!”

As MacRae said, Priester comes to TCI with a lot of experience covering the Tigers.

“After starting out covering baseball for SB Nation’s Shakin’ The Southland in 2018, I joined the beat in December of 2019 working with Sports Illustrated’s All Clemson platform.  The last five-plus years working with the guys over at All Clemson Tigers have been some of the best of my life. I’ve learned so much and will always be grateful to Zach for giving me an opportunity,” said Priester.
