Standing 6-foot-3 and already pushing the 200-pound mark, Moore is physically ready to go, but at the same time, getting to campus allows the dynamic wideout to get started in the strength program two months before the start of fall camp.
Moore joins fellow former 5-star Bryant Wesco as newcomers to the wide receiver room and both are expected to make immediate impacts on a Clemson offense that has lacked explosiveness in the passing game over the past few years.
As a senior at Tampa Catholic, Moore had more than 1,200 receiving yards and averaged more than 25 yards per catch.
Although, Moore is not the only midyear set to arrive this weekend.
High school teammates Darien Mayo and CJ Kubah-Taylor, out of Good Counsel (Olney, Md), will both get to campus this weekend, as well.
Mayo, a 4-star DE, is 6-foot-7 and close to 260-pounds. He had a detailed workout plan in place over the spring to ensure he arrived at camp in peak physical condition. The Top-150 talent was a first-team All-WCAC player after a dominant senior season that saw his register 78 total tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
Kubah-Taylor, a 3-star LB, is in a great spot physically, as well. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs 220-pounds. As a senior, Kubah-Taylor was credited with 87 tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, three interceptions, eight pass breakups and a forced fumble, as he also earned first-team All-WCAC honors.
