Clemson-UGA Game Time Announced

The kickoff time for Clemson’s marquee season opener has been announced.

The Tigers will open the 2024 campaign with a non-conference tilt against Georgia in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The game time is now set for 12 p.m. ET and the contest will be televised on ABC.

This will mark the second time in three years that Clemson opens a season in the home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. In Clemson’s last visit to the facility to open 2022, the Tigers defeated Georgia Tech, 41-10.

Clemson will attempt to earn its first win against Georgia since 2013 in a matchup of regional rivals that have accounted for four of the last eight national championships. In the series’ 17 installments since 1980, the winner of this contest went on to win the national championship three times.

The Bulldogs beat the Tigers, 10-3, in their most recent meeting on Sept. 4, 2021, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
