4-star OL Official Visitor Announces Clemson Offer

One of Clemson’s offensive line official visitors has formally received an offer from the Tigers.

Rowan Byrne of Iona Prep (New Rochelle, N.Y.) is among the recruits taking their official visits to Clemson this weekend, and he reported the offer from the Tigers via social media Friday afternoon.

“Thankful to say that after a great conversation with coach Swinney and coach Luke I have earned an offer to Clemson University,” Byrne wrote.

A four-star prospect in the 2025 class, Byrne is the top-ranked prospect in the state of New York regardless of position, per Rivals.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound rising senior has a list of more than two dozen offers that includes schools such as Florida State, Michigan State, Penn State, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Syracuse, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.

Byrne told The Clemson Insider recently that receiving a Clemson offer would certainly be big for him.

“It would definitely mean a lot to me to get an offer from Clemson, one of the best programs in the country,” he said. “It would definitely mean a lot to me.”

“My interest level in Clemson is extremely high, it is one of the best programs in the nation,” he added. “I think it is a great program, great development, great everything. Definitely a top-of-the-line program in all aspects.”
