More than 500 kids were in attendance for the opening session of Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on Tuesday.
TCI spent much of the morning taking in the wide receivers and wide receivers.
2026 WR Jordon Gidron really stood out among the group. The 4-star in-state prospect (Ridge View) has shot up the recruiting rankings over the offseason and watching him live you see why. While his speed has been well-documented, his burst and his quickness separated himself from some of the others in the group. His route running is smooth, as are his hands. Easy to see why he is the top player in the state.
Another in-state wideout on hand was 2026 prospect Donovan Murph (Irmo). The 6-foot-2, 4-star talent showed a knack for being able to go up and high point the ball.
2025 WR Dillon Alfred (Saraland, Al) was also in attendance. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound 4-star talent is committed to Ole Miss and the camp at Clemson is the only one he plans to attend. Alfred is extremely explosive and tracks the ball well.
2027 WR Darrius Carter was another wideout that catches your eye. While he is more of a smaller, slot-type receiver, he flashes. Another smooth route runner with really soft hands.
2025 QB Kaeden Gilstrap worked out. He is the stepson of former Clemson wideout Aaron Kelly. The three-sport star displayed impressive accuracy.
2026 CJ Britt is attending his second camp in a row. He has added a little bulk since last summer, but still throws a nice ball and puts it where he wants it.
2026 QB Noah Lee (Jacksonville, Al) was another quarterback on hand that threw the ball with a nice touch. He currently has just one offer from Jacksonville State.
2025 LB Logan Anderson was one of the linebackers that really stood out, and the Tigers are still looking for one in the current class. Was told this morning that Anderson is supposed to meet with the coaches later this afternoon. Georgia and Auburn are just two of his Power-5 offers.
2025 3-star S Damarcus Leach (Abbeville) was on hand. However, after hurting an ankle working out on Monday, he was not able to finish the session. He tried pushing through but just could not do it.
2027 TE Jackson Anderson (Lugoff-Elgin) was one of the tight ends that stood out in the limited time we were watching.
