What They Are Saying: Cannarella’s Incredible Catch

Clemson ultimately came up short in a season-ending loss to Florida on Sunday in Game 2 of the Clemson Super Regional, but Clemson’s Cam Cannarella shined while delivering clutch heroics in the late innings.

After crushing a three-run home run in the top of the ninth to send the game to extra innings, Cannarella stepped up again with a Willie Mays-esque catch, making an incredible over-the-shoulder grab at the center-field wall with two men on base and two outs in a tie game in the bottom of the 10th.

Though Florida prevailed in the end, Cannarella’s unbelievable catch is one of the best plays you’ll ever see, and the sophomore’s highlight-reel play certainly had social media buzzing.
