Clemson Cornerback Target Names Finalists, Sets Commitment Date

Zae Thomas’ recruitment is coming to an end.

The 4-star cornerback (Heritage, Ft Lauderdale) announced Clemson and Florida State as his two finalists on Thursday night, along with a commitment date of June 30.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound defensive back was one of a handful of corners to take official visits to Clemson in early June, which included Graceson Littleton, who announced a commitment earlier this month.

Thomas, who picked up an offer from Clemson back in April after an unofficial visit, will now take his final official visit to Florida State this weekend. This has been perceived as a battle between the Tigers and Seminoles for weeks, with Florida State possibly holding the edge.

Thomas is ranked inside the Top 200 overall by multiple recruiting services.
