TCI Recruiting Roundup: Latest on Clemson QB Target Tait Reynolds

With Brady Hart now off the board to Michigan, all eyes now turn towards Clemson’s other quarterback target in the 2026 class, Tait Reynolds.

The 4-star signal caller (Queen Creek, Az) spent much of the first week in June on campus, working out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on two different days. While Reynolds was not the first of the two quarterbacks to go public with his offer, there is reason to believe he was the first of the two quarterbacks to be offered, after impressing Garrett Riley and Dabo Swinney during his workouts.

However, Reynolds, who is a two-sport star, has also thrown for other coaching staffs in recent weeks. The quarterback told TCI ton Friday that before the NCAA mandated dead period begins on Monday, he will have also worked out at Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Miami. He also added that he was planning to get back to Clemson “as soon as he can.”

While calling Clemson the “front-runner” after picking up his offer from the Tigers, Reynolds also named the Sooners, Aggies and Hurricanes as schools that are in the mix, as well as Utah.

Reynolds is currently committed to Arizona State baseball and he is interested in talking with the baseball coaches at Clemson, but by rule, that can not happen before August. In a recent interview with TCI, Reynolds said he was interested in playing both sports at the next level, even if he only plays baseball during his first year in school.
