By the end of the weekend, the entire 2024 Clemson football team will be on campus.
While a majority of Clemson’s 2024 signing class enrolled early and went through spring practice, the Tigers have still been waiting on a handful of summer enrollees to arrive on campus.
At least three of the summer enrollees have already been on campus the past few weeks. 5-star WR TJ Moore, 4-star DE Darien Mayo and 3-star LB CJ Kubah-Taylor all arrived in mid-May, giving all three a head start on getting entrenched in the strength and conditioning program.
“That helps a lot to be able to put on good weight and be physically ready when fall camp starts,” Mayo told The Clemson Insider. “I am just ready to compete. Get to know my teammates and be ready when my number is called.”
“Strength and building your body, that is a big part of the game,” Kubah-Taylor said. “You can know everything you need to know but if your body isn’t ready to go then you can’t be trusted when you get in the game. It’s really going to help put some weight on, get faster and be ready to play.”
The rest of the class was set to arrive this weekend.
