Tennessee QB Recaps Latest Clemson Visit

After attending Dabo Swinney’s high school camp for the second consecutive summer, 2026 QB Femi Babalola has put himself on the radar of the Clemson coaching staff.

As he gets set to head into his junior season and after hitting multiple camps this summer, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound signal caller (Ravenwood, Brentwood, Tn) is now starting to see multiple schools showing legitimate interest.

“This year is a lot different than last year.,” Babalola told The Clemson Insider. “Because of how much I’ve grown throughout the season and this offseason, I feel like the like the eyes are on me a lot more this season and at these college camps. I mean, it was fun to be able to compete and just learn new things.”

After his workout, Babalola received a lot of positive feedback from offensive coordinator Garrett Riley.

“I talked to Garrett Riley,” Babalola said. “He said that all I did from the camp is help myself out from a recruiting standpoint and I don’t need to change anything. Just keep doing what I’m doing.”

However, Babalola was looking for some constructive criticism, and Riley did offer up some advice on how to keep growing.

“Just some consistency with my throwing form,” he said. “Just little things to help me better myself.”

Babalola also worked out at Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky and Ohio State in an effort to help improve his stock. Since his appearance at Clemson, he has been hearing from multiple members of the Tigers’ support staff, and he is hoping at some point, the offers will start to come, particularly one from Clemson.

“It would mean a lot,” Babalola said. “Just having the opportunity to play college football, any opportunity I get, when that happens I am going to be ecstatic.”
