Gooden visited Clemson on multiple occasions over the past year after announcing an offer from the Tigers last summer. His last visit came for the Elite Retreat in January.
“I enjoyed Clemson very much,” Gooden told The Clemson Insider after the visit “It was a great all-around experience. It’s just one big family and a lot of fun.”
The Tigers have already secured commitments from three different offensive linemen in 4-stars Brayden Jacobs, Easton Ware and Rowan Byrne, and are looking to add as many as two more players at the position. 5-star David Sanders and 4-star Hardy Watts are the two uncommitted targets at the top of the board.
247 Sports ranks Gooden No. 185 overall, No. 10 among all interior offensive linemen and No. 3 in the state of Tennessee.
