One of the top offensive linemen in the 2026 recruiting class has already trimmed his list down to seven finalists.
4-star Maxwell Riley (Avon Lake, OH) announced the seven finalists on Tuesday via a social media post. Oklahoma, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, Missouri, Michigan State, as well as Clemson all made the cut.
“God has blessed me immensely with these opportunities,” Riley posted on X. “After much discussion with my family we have decided to narrow the list of prospective college football programs to seven. I will be concentrating on my relationships with these schools moving forward. Thank you & God Bless!”

Riley picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers earlier this month and is just one of 10 offensive linemen in the 2026 class to currently hold an offer from Clemson. He last visited during Dabo Swinney’s high school camp, but did not work out.
“I’m pretty high on them right now and have been for a while,” Riley told TCI after picking up the offer.
Rivals ranks Riley as the No. 9 player overall in his class and No. 4 among all interior offensive linemen.
