One of Clemson’s remaining wide receiver targets has named his finalist and set a commitment date.

4-star wideout Samari Reed (Monarch, Coconut Creek, FL) is set to announce on July 3, with Clemson, Penn State, Kentucky, West Virginia and Ole Miss being named the finalists.

Reed was one of two receivers on hand for the big official visit weekend, joining 4-star Cortez Mills (Homestead, FL). On Monday, Clemson also offered former Ole Miss commit, 4-star Dillon Alfred (Saraland, AL).

Rivals ranks Reed No. 149 overall and No. 30 among all receivers.

The Tigers already have one receiver committed in the 2025 class in 4-star Ju Ju Preston and are looking to add up to two more players at the position.
