Another Tiger Transferring to South Carolina

Another former Clemson baseball player is headed to play for the Tigers’ in-state rival.

Former Tiger infielder Nolan Nawrocki is transferring to South Carolina, per his Instagram account.

Nawrocki entered his name into the transfer portal last week.

The native of Rockville Centre, N.Y., played in 36 games as a redshirt freshman this past season, while starting 34. He hit .264 and had 33 hits, 24 RBIs and four home runs.

Prior to arriving at Clemson in 2023, Nawrocki was ranked as the No. 297 player and No. 70 shortstop in the nation by Perfect Game, and the No. 9 player and No. 2 shortstop in New York by Perfect Game. He lettered two times in baseball at Chaminade High School.

Another Clemson transfer, Nathan Hall, recently announced that he is transferring to South Carolina as well.
