Friday Night Lights: Multiple Clemson Commits Shine

Many high school teams have now kicked off their seasons, with multiple Clemson commits performing extremely well under the Friday Night Lights.

4-star DL Amare Adams

The 6-foot-6, 290-plus pound defensive lineman was a forced to be reckoned with in South Florence’s season-opening 23-16 win over crosstown rival West Florence. These two teams usually meet to end the regular season, but with West having moved up to 5A this season, the season-opener was the only option.

West ran away from Adams all night long and when they did attempt to pass, sent double and triple-teams in his direction. That didn’t stop Adams from being extremely disruptive and he unofficially finished with four tackles, two QB pressures and a sack. The sack came on West’s final drive of the night, in South territory as they were looking to tie things up. Then on their final offensive play, Adams batted down a pass on 4th and 13 to end any hopes West had of tying the game.

4-star S Tae Harris

After a strong showing in a season-opening win for Cedartown, Harris picked up where he left off, helping lead his team to a 27-7 win over Berkmar. Harris played on both sides of the ball, finishing with seven tackles and two pass breakups. He also rushed for close to 100 yards and two touchdowns.

4-star ATH Marquise Henderson

Henderson hit paydirt four times as Belton-Honea Path started the season with a 45-14 victory over Broom.

3-star QB Brock Bradley (2026)

The 2026 quarterback commit was 9-for-15 for 243 yards, with five of those nine completions going for touchdowns.
