ESPN’s College GameDay crew has made their picks for today’s game between No. 14 Clemson and No. 1 Georgia.
The Bulldogs are an 11-point favorite in the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
All of the GameDay analysts, and celebrity guest picker Johnny Manziel, picked Georgia to win the game:
Desmond Howard: Georgia
“With Georgia missing so many weapons, missing two running backs coming into this game, it’s easy to pick against Georgia. But I’m not sure if I can trust Cade Klubnik yet. I trust Carson Beck. So, I’m going with the Bulldogs.”
Nick Saban: Georgia
“I’m going with the Bulldogs. Like I said last week, somebody’s got to prove that they can beat Georgia. It’s a complete team — good defense, good offense, good quarterback. Georgia’s complete.”
Pat McAfee: Georgia
“I picked Georgia to win the national championship, and until it’s proven otherwise, I’m gonna roll with the Dawgs.”
Kirk Herbstreit: Georgia
“What are we gonna see from Clemson? Because playing Georgia in Week 1, Dabo told us earlier how much he loves the challenge of that. I think they’re gonna compete. I think this is a close, low-scoring game back and forth. Both these defenses will play well. I think Georgia wins, but it’s gonna be hard fought.”
Lee Corso: Georgia
Johnny Manziel: Georgia
