Star Clemson defensive lineman Peter Woods sustained an injury in the first half of Saturday night’s game against Appalachian State at Death Valley.

The sophomore went down after a chop block below the waist in the second quarter. He was slow to get up off the field before eventually limping off under his own power and going into the injury tent to be evaluated by the medical staff.

Woods later came out of the medical tent, and TCI noticed that he came back onto the field after halftime with a brace on his left knee.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney will presumably provide an update on Woods’ status following the game.
