Hicks picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers back in June and was on hand for the season-opening loss to Georgia as a guest of Clemson. He also was on hand for the Junior Day back in March.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect ranks as high as No. 19 overall and No. 1 among all safeties.
Clemson currently has three players committed in the 2026 class, in 4-star QB Tait Reynolds, 4-star CB Shavar Young Jr and 3-star QB Brock Bradley.
