Swinney Reveals Big News for Clemson

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney revealed some big news during his weekly radio show Monday night.

Swinney said he expects the Tigers’ starting right guard – redshirt senior Walker Parks – to return for his sixth and final season at Clemson in 2025.

“He’s just awesome. He’s as tough as they come, and just brings a hard edge to that group. He’s a tremendous leader, and a guy that I think will come back next year. So, super excited,” Swinney said.

Swinney added that he doesn’t think the Tigers will lose anybody on offense besides senior offensive lineman Marcus Tate, senior running back Phil Mafah and senior tight end Jake Briningstool.

“Really don’t anticipate losing anyone except Marcus Tate – Marcus Tate, Mafah and Brinny, those guys for sure will be gone,” Swinney said. “But I think everybody else will most likely be back here, and just continue to really build something special.”
