Erik Bakich and the Clemson baseball program picked up a new verbal pledge on Tuesday.
Kayden McGlauflin, a class of 2026 righthanded pitcher from Weddington High School in North Carolina, announced his commitment to the Tigers via social media.
“I am thrilled to (announce) that I have committed to Clemson University! HUGE thank you to my family, friends, coaches and teammates who supported me every step of the way,” McGlauflin wrote in a post on X. “I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to compete for a National Championship and am honored that Coach Bakich, Coach Belanger, Coach Schnabel and the entire Clemson Baseball Staff believe in me.”
