ACC Analysts Give Their Predictions for Clemson vs. FSU

These two ACC analysts gave their predictions for tonight’s game between No. 15 Clemson (3-1, 2-0 ACC) and Florida State (1-4, 1-3).

In Friday’s ACC PM show, ACC Network host Mark Packer and former Florida State quarterback/current ACCN analyst EJ Manuel weighed in with some thoughts on the game and how they see it playing out.

The Tigers are a 17-point favorite in the matchup at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.

The game is set to kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.

Here’s what Packer and Manuel had to say in their predictions:

Packer: “The home team has won 15 of the last 21 in this series, but the Tigers have won the last three times they’ve been in Tallahassee. I just think they’re playing at a different level. Again, Florida State, I’m still waiting for the one time where they give me the game where everybody is dialed in and ready to go. (FSU QB) Brock Glenn, got to strap it on real tight, and he’s coming at you fast and furious. I like the Tigers, but I don’t think it’s going to be a cakewalk. I don’t.”

Manuel: “All I ask for my Noles is just make it a game, make it respectable, ultimately maybe give yourself a chance late in the game in the fourth quarter to go out there and potentially win. But you’re right, Clemson’s playing with a ton of confidence. I feel like since that Georgia loss, they’ve been playing pissed off. Everybody that’s been in their trail has been getting it on the butt, really. So, I think this certainly fits in Clemson’s favor right now.”
