The 4-star DL, out of South Florence, is one of the anchors of the Bruins defensive front.
Through the first six games of his senior season, Adams has recorded 28 tackles, five tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries, despite constantly facing double and triple teams.
Adams, who committed to the Tigers last December, is projected to play defensive tackle at the college level, but plays end in South Florence’s 3-4 scheme. 247Sports ranks the blue-chip talent No. 35 overall, No. 5 among all defensive lineman and No. 1 in the state of South Carolina.
The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas recognizes the very best in high school football players in the Carolinas. Every year there is a highly visible game between North Carolina’s players and those from South Carolina hosted by and promoted by The Shriners. The games are held at Spartanburg High School.
