Clemson OL Target Commits Elsewhere

A recently offered Clemson target has committed to another school.

3-star OL Nelson McGuire (Midlothian, TX) announced a commitment to Texas A&M on Monday. McGuire, who at one time was committed to Minnesota, just visited the Aggies over the weekend.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound recruit picked up an offer from Clemson last month and the Tigers were hoping to get him to campus for an official visit the weekend of the Virginia game. He last visited for camp back in June.

The Tigers already have three offensive linemen committed in the 2025 class in 4-stars Brayden Jacobs and Easton Ware and 3-star Rowan Byrne. However, the staff has been looking to add a fourth and McGuire was the player that Matt Luke had recently dialed in on.
