Clemson softball has lost one of the bigger pieces to its 2025 recruiting class.
Two-way player Addisyn Linton announced a decommitment from the Tigers on Sunday.
Our journeys are all different, sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same. Gods timing is always the right thing, and with that being said I am withdrawing my verbal commitment and trusting Gods plan for me.

Linton committed to Clemson last fall and was on campus as recently as last weekend.
The left-handed pitcher and hitter is a Premier Girls Fastpitch All-American and two-time national champion. She has won a high school state championship, as well as being named player of the year multiple times.
As a sophomore she hit .617 with 21 home runs and 71 RBI, while going 12-2, with 168 strikeouts in 102 innings in the circle.
