Fast-Rising Georgia ATH Recaps Second Game Day Visit to Clemson

Brayden Rouse is quickly seeing his stock rise on the recruiting trail.

The 3-star ATH (Kell, GA) has had a busy fall taking visits and Rouse continues to see his list of offers grow, with Ole Miss and Missouri being two of his most recent.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound high school junior was in Clemson for the Tigers’ 48-31 win over Virginia, his second time visiting this season. He was also on campus for the blowout win over App State back in September.

“I love it down at Death Valley,” Rouse told The Clemson Insider. “I had a good chance to get together with the coaching staff and develop a relationship with them. The environment was amazing and I really enjoyed myself.”

Rouse is a versatile athlete and plays on both sides of the ball for his high school team, with the Clemson coaching staff seeing him playing either linebacker or tight end at the next level.

“The coaching and the players being extremely disciplined,” Rouse said of two things that stood out about the latest visit.

Virginia, Duke, South Carolina, Mississippi State and Tennessee are just a few of the other schools to have offered since the summer and Rouse has spent most every weekend this fall taking visits.

“I have been to Alabama, Clemson twice, Virginia, Mississippi State, and Tennessee,” he said. “I have Ohio State, Vandy, Virginia and Georgia Tech planned.”

The Tigers have yet to offer, but it definitely feels like one could be coming at some point in the future and the two in-season visits shows there is interest on Rouse’s end.

While he has yet to firm up any timeline for making a decision, if that offer were to come, Clemson would be a school he would seriously consider.

“They are up there,” Rouse said. “It would mean a lot. I definitely would consider it.”
