Clemson Commit Named Finalist for Mr. Football

A 2025 Clemson commit has been named a finalist for Mr. Football in the state of South Carolina.

4-star RB Marquise Henderson (Belton-Honea Path) was one of five players named a finalist for the annual award on Thursday. He joins 3-star QB Cutter Woods (Westside), 3-star QB Will Wilson (Richland NE), 4-star WR Malik Clark (Rock Hill) and 4-star OL Shed Sarratt (Gaffney) as finalists for the award.

The winner is set to be announced on December 21 at the Touchstone Energy Bowl.

Henderson, who is already BHP’s all-time leading rusher, has turned in a stellar senior campaign. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound back has rushed for 1,077 yards over his first seven games. He is averaging 13.8 yards per carry, has 13 touchdowns and has rushed for more than 100 yards in five games. He’s also added 15 receptions for 191 yards and another touchdown.

On3 ranks Henderson No. 151 overall, No. 9 among all running backs and No. 3 in the state of South Carolina.
