Tait Reynolds’ strong junior season is not only paying off on the field of play, but it’s also helping the Clemson quarterback commit rise in the recruiting rankings.
When the 4-star prospect committed to the Tigers back in July, Reynolds (Queen Creek, AZ) wasn’t even ranked inside of the Top 200, but after seven games this season that is no longer the case.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal caller is completing 61% of his passes, while averaging right at 180 passing yards per game. He has thrown 15 touchdowns to just two interceptions.
Reynolds has added another 650 yards via his legs, which is 200 more than anyone else on his team, and has 10 rushing touchdowns. The quarterback has gone over the century mark in rushing yards four times already.
Due in part to those numbers, Reynolds has continued to rise in the recruiting rankings. On3 now has him at No. 183 overall and No. 14 among all quarterbacks. He is also now the top player in the state of Arizona.
Reynolds is currently one of three players in the 2026 class committed to Clemson. 4-star CB Shavar Young Jr and 3-star QB Brock Bradley are the other two that have already given verbal pledges to the Tigers.
