Defensive Snap Counts from Clemson’s Runaway Win Over Virginia

After its 48-31 win over Virginia over the weekend, Clemson has moved up to No. 9 in the AP Poll.

The Tigers extended their winning streak to six games and have now won 11 of the past 12 going back to last season. Clemson heads into its second bye week of the season sitting at 6-1 overall and 5-0 in ACC play.

The win over the Cavaliers also presented another opportunity for Dabo Swinney to get some of his backups some time on the field.

Cade Denhoff has seen his snaps decrease drastically since Peter Woods returned from injury. Caden Story played his second most snaps of the season and even Zaire Patterson, who spent much of the first part of the season injured, saw some time for the second straight game.

Sammy Brown played his most snaps since the NC State game and a number of the younger defensive backs saw extensive time.
