Former Tiger Scores First Career TD as a Falcon

In Week 9 of the NFL season on Sunday, a former Clemson standout scored his first career touchdown as a member of the Atlanta Falcons.

Wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud found the end zone on an 11-yard reception from quarterback Kirk Cousins in the third quarter of the Falcons’ eventual 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

McCloud finished with three catches for 28 yards and his touchdown on three targets. He also recorded a 7-yard run, as well as two kick returns for 42 yards.

McCloud signed with the Falcons this past offseason after spending the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. Prior to that, the veteran receiver/return specialist had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2020-21), Buffalo Bills (2019-20) and Carolina Panthers (2019). He began his NFL career with the Bills in 2018 after being selected by the franchise in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
