R.J. Mickens Injury Update Following Pitt Game

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney gave the latest injury update on R.J. Mickens injury situation following the 20th-ranked Tigers’ 24-20 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Mickens, Clemson’s starting safety, left the game early in the fourth quarter near the Tigers’ goal line.

“I don’t know,” Swinney said after the game. “He looked good in the locker room. But I don’t know. I did not get anything specific on him.”

Mickens was one of several Clemson players banged up on Saturday. Swinney will have more on Mickens and the rest of the injuries during his Sunday night teleconference.
