Tigers Regain the Lead

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Clemson regained the lead on Pittsburgh in the second quarter of Saturday’s game at Acrisure Stadium.

Quarterback Cade Klubnik gave the Tigers a 14-7 lead with 11:18 to play in the second quarter with a 28-yard TD pass to Antonio Williams to cap a three-play 75-yard drive. It took Clemson 1:58 to score.

The Williams’ touchdown was setup thanks to a 45-yard Klubnik to Bryant Wesco pass on the previous play. Klubnik stood in a took a shot as Wesco came open down the middle of the field.
