Clemson’s top TE target in the 2026 class will announce a commitment on Thursday.
3-star Tayveon Wilson (Huntington Prep, WV) will announce at 3:30 during a ceremony at his high school.
I will be committing on Thursday, November 21 at 3:30pm in the Huntington High School auditorium. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

After working out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp in June, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound recruit was the first player at his position in the 2026 class to pick up an offer from the Tigers. Wilson is still one of just two tight ends in the 2026 class to hold an offer from Clemson.
He last visited for the Tigers’ win over Stanford in early October. Louisville, Penn State, Miami and West Virginia are some of the other schools to have offered.
“The atmosphere was definitely something that stood out,” Wilson told The Clemson Insider after the visit. “It was amazing. I didn’t expect it to be that loud and have that many people show up, considering that many people, including coaches, were out of power.”
Clemson currently has three players committed in the 2026 class, with 4-star QB Tait Reynolds, 4-star CB Shavar Young Jr. and 3-star QB Brock Bradley all previously announcing verbal pledges.
