After working out at camp in June, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect was the first tight end to pick up an offer from the Tigers in the 2026 class. While Clemson has offered one since, Wilson has remained the top target at the position.
Wilson was last on campus for the Stanford game in early October. Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia were three of the other schools to get game day visits.
“Clemson obviously has a great program,” he told TCI after the visit. “They’ve won championships. And the coaching staff, I love them. The connection I’ve built with them having been six hours away, it’s pretty, pretty good considering we just text and have phone calls and can’t see each other in person that often.”
Wilson joins 4-star QB Tait Reynolds, 4-star CB Shavar Young and 3-star QB Brock Bradley as verbal pleges in the Tigers’ 2026 class.
