Saturday’s rivalry game between Clemson and South Carolina is a high-stakes affair.
While the College Football Playoff implications have been covered from every angle, it’s also a big recruiting weekend for the Tigers. Multiple high-profile targets are set to be on hand, several of which are in-state players considering both Clemson and the Gamecocks.
One of the biggest just might be 4-star WR Donovan Murph. The 2025 prospect just took an official visit to Clemson last weekend. This is a battle that appears to be coming down to the two in-state schools, with most seeing South Carolina as having an edge. A win on Saturday could only help Clemson’s cause. He will announce at the Under Armor All-American Game on January 3.
“They helped themselves out a lot,” Murph told TCI. “It definitely has me thinking that is somewhere that I want to be.”
